Hi, my name is Natasha Simms and I have lived in Delaware for over 20 years. I have four children, Malachi, 12, Shaygna, 11, Shaun, 9, and Nathaniel, 4. As a family, we like to go to the zoo and museums, and also read, sing and pray.

We currently reside in public housing and although we are grateful for a place to live at times it is unsafe and uncomfortable.

To my family, Habitat means a fresh and new start. It means a long time prayer being answered and a goal finally obtained. It will also provide stability and peace.

Habitat has already begun changing our lives by giving us hope and happiness. This opportunity will also inspire us as a family to give back to the community as the community has given to us.

This opportunity has already given my children something to look forward to as well as teaching them hard work does and will pay off.
