Dover, DE 2/27/2025 Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity (CDHFH) hosted yet another successful Looking Back Building Forward Awards Breakfast, honoring the exceptional achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations in 2024. The event took place on February 27, 2025 at Wyoming United Methodist Church in Dover.
The Looking Back Building Forward Awards Breakfast brought together esteemed professionals, industry leaders, partners and volunteers to celebrate their support of CDHFH throughout 2024. Attendees were treated to homeowner speeches from current homeowner Rebecca Hurst and current partner Tanya Waller, esteemed recognition of sponsors, community partners and volunteers, and invaluable networking opportunities.
“Bringing the community together for reflection, gratitude, and recognition for our Looking
Back, Building Forward Breakfast has to be my favorite event of the year. The passion and
emotion exchanged is transformational and reminds us all why we engage in this critical work,” said Tim Bailey, Chief Operating Officer of CDHFH.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of awards across various categories, including Habitat Hero of the Year, ReStore Warrior induction and Community Partner of the Year. Each award recipient was commended for their outstanding partnership and dedication. The winners truly exemplify the spirit of innovation and partnership with Central Delaware Habitat.
As we reflect on the success of this year’s event, we look forward to building upon this momentum and continuing to celebrate community partnerships and supporters in the years to come.
