Get started with our Healthy Home Repairs program! Repairs include home preservation, weatherization, critical home repair, and accessibility.
Homeowners must own and occupy the home for one year for which the work is requested. Repairs are limited to residents in Kent County, Delaware whose household earns 80% or below the area median income. The repairs are at no charge to the homeowner. The type of work we approve has to be a critical need or a health/safety issue. This can include roofing, plumbing, electrical, accessibility, and more on a case-by-case basis.
application process
- Fill out the application and attach ALL requested documents
- Return in person or mail to 2311 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 ATTN: Neighborhood Revitalization
- Allow time to have us process the application and determine the eligibility
- Once the application is approved, we will have to get three (3) estimates for the work and then we will assign a contractor to complete the work
- After the work is complete, we will have the homeowner complete a survey and certificate of completion
- Applicants must be willing to partner with us for sweat equity hours
