Looking Back Building Forward Recognition Dinner

CELEBRATING THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROGRESS

For more than three decades, Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity (CDHFH) has been helping families throughout Kent County achieve strength, stability, and independence through affordable housing. Along the way, we’ve built more than homes. We’ve built lasting relationships with the businesses, donors, volunteers, and community members who make our mission possible.

Our 2027 Annual Recognition Dinner is an opportunity to bring those individuals together for an evening of appreciation, reflection, and celebration. It’s about recognizing the people behind the progress, strengthening community partnerships, and sharing our vision for the future of affordable housing in Kent County.

Guests can look forward to an upscale evening at Wild Quail Golf & Country Club, featuring fine dining, community conversation, recognition of our outstanding supporters, highlights from CDHFH’s past year, and special fundraising opportunities.

Opening Doors Together

This year’s event will also highlight our Open the Door Campaign, which brings together local artists and community supporters to raise awareness and funds for affordable housing. Talented local artists have transformed ordinary doors into unique works of art, each representing the opportunity and stability that come with having a place to call home.

These doors will be showcased throughout the evening, along with an online auction offering guests and community members the opportunity to support our mission while celebrating local creativity.

Looking Ahead
As we look ahead to another year of serving Kent County, we recognize that our success is only possible because of the people and organizations who stand beside us. We invite you to join us as a sponsor of the 2027 Annual Recognition Dinner and help us continue opening doors for families in our community.

Admission is free and breakfast is complimentary. Registration is required.
