Len and her four children are lifelong Dover residents. She heard about the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity homeownership program from a friend who is already a Habitat homeowner, and decided to apply to give her four children, Daveion, Javarr, Daishaun and Kaydra a safe and stable environment to grow in. They are currently living in a three-bedroom mobile home and working to with the goal of everyone graduating from college.

Each of the children has their own interests — Daveion is into fashion, Javarr loves to play football, Daishaun loves to play basketball and Kaydra is a budding artist. They are excited to learn and make community service a part of their hearts while they are volunteering on the build site. Len and her family are excited to own their own home because it will give them their own personal space to play and focus on their future goals.
