The Erb family established in 2016. Meeting as friends and falling in love was the easy part. But getting, married and having our daughter was our everything in life and life sure did have its curve balls.

We have been through a lot as any relationship would say. But, we stuck through our hard times. From constantly moving around to maybe finally settling after our daughter was born, but like I said it was never easy.

Our daughter being born was the happiest moment of our life and we felt completely and inevitably grateful. It wasn’t until she was three weeks old we knew something wasn’t right. As we rushed her to the hospital an hour away, they confirmed seizure, strokes, blood clot and bleeding in the brain that was damaging her every second. We prayed as they put her in an induced coma.

She was asleep for a whole month.

Living in the hospital was not something we thought we would have to do but we stood by her side! We prayed. We cried. We screamed. But, we knew if it was Gods will there was a purpose!

So, prayer was all we had left and boy did we pray and he heard. A whole month she slept and it was that day that we finally saw her open her eyes and smile and we knew that no matter what, we wanted to give her the world!

And the world she got.

Being family has its ups and downs but us, the Erb’s, we’re strong! We’re fighters! Giving up is never an option for us. We thank Habitat for everything they have done for us and everything they have taught us.
